Now you say to yourself "I will need many years of training to do this or perhaps some college degree". Guess what? A few months ago I though the very same thing, but today I'm actually making money on the internet. It occurred to me that there may be others out there who would like to pursue this route. So I have designed my website to share this information to all who care to read it.
With all of the corporate layoffs, shutdowns, takeovers, mergers I became tired of working for someone else and depending on job security for my future financial needs. So I moonlighted and developed my own way to generate income. You can do the same. You already have a computer with internet access, so you are ready to start making money!
You must first decide on the type of site you want to have. For example: Most people are interested in selling department store type items. Thus one will need a storefront type website. Some people are entrepreneurs and are interested in selling their own original items or inventions. Others will be new Authors who are interested in selling ebooks of their works. Some e-commerce entrepreneurs will be more apt to the do- it- yourself approach. In turn they will want to learn HTML and design their own sites and using Affiliates in order to produce multiple streams of income.

Doing Business Online
To be able to do business online you will need to have computer access with a good internet service provider, preferably one with Broadband . While you are designing your new website you will need to do the following:
-Choose and register a domain name.
-Select a web hosting company.
A web hosting company will provide the tools to launch your site and also tools to generate stats or reports of your site's progress. They will also monitor your site to ensure that it's working at all times.
-Process credit card payments.
-Once your site is launched you will need to advertise
and promote your website.
Business Considerations
Two of the most important rules in running a business is to get a receipt for all monies that you spend while conducting business and to be able to account for all the monies that you make from your business. Some people use computer software and some use large envelopes along with a composition book. Whatever works for you!
To establish yourself as a legal business you will need to do the following:
-Choose a business name and have a
logo designed.
-Apply for a Business Tax License in your city.
-Get a free Business Checking Account at a local bank, so you can have your online credit card payments deposited electronically.
-Apply EIN from the IRS online. Your EIN can be used with your business instead of using your social security number.
- Get Business Cards, Letterhead and Envelopes
Taxation
The following information should be verified by your licensed tax preparer prior to you filing any taxes, because tax laws change from year to year.
You will be required to pay the following taxes:
-Revenue Tax
-City and/or County Tax (s)
-Property Tax
Once you have established yourself as a business you may deduct many business related things during tax time including:
-Accountant Fees and/or Tax preparer fees
-Everything that you have purchased for your internet business online as well as in local stores and/or mail order. This is to include big ticket items such as your computer, additional software, advertising and promotion fees (See IRS Form 1040 Schedule C ...part II).
-A portion of your mortgage and your utility bills for your home office (See IRS Form 8829).
-Internet service provider's fees and long distance charges on both your land phone company as well as your Cell Phone for calls that were business-related.
-There is a deduction for car mileage if your car was used partly for business purposes.
Get a credit card that is used only for your business expenses and you will be able to deduct the finance charges.
